Even as invites to a restricted group of guests have been sent out, preparations for filmmaker Vignesh Shivan’s wedding to actress Nayanthara are in full swing. The celebrity couple’s wedding, which has been in the works for a while, will take place on June 9 at a popular resort in Mahabalipuram. According to sources close to the couple, the wedding will be attended by only close family and friends from the industry, and extraordinary plans have been made to assure security.
Nayanthara is an Indian actress and film producer who predominantly appears in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam cinema. She was the only South Indian female actor to have made it to the Forbes India “Celebrity 100”, 2018 list, with her total annual earning credited at ₹ 15.17 crores.
Vignesh Shivan, credited sometimes as Vignesh Shivan, is an Indian film director, film producer, actor, and lyricist who works in Tamil cinema.
“Security has been significantly strengthened at the event,” according to the sources. Prior to the wedding, guests who have been invited will receive a special code. Guests will be able to bring their own food. After showing the code, guests will be allowed to access the wedding location.
“A wedding dress code has also been established. The invitation specifies Ethnic pastels as the dress code. On Wednesday, before the wedding on Thursday morning, there will be a Sangeet ceremony.” M K Stalin, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, has lately met with the couple to invite him to their wedding.
According to sources, actors Rajinikanth and Ajith have also been invited to the occasion.
