The Sims Mobile is the smartphones and tablets version of the successful saga of ‘life simulation’ games. It came out in 2018 and since then it has been constantly receiving new content.
The updates with new content for The Sims Mobile bring (among other things) quests or missions. For instance, there is the Sweet Treat Showdown challenge.
The Sims Mobile ‘Sweet Treat Showdown’ (also known simply as STS) is a challenge that requires collecting a certain amount of prizes to get a Grand Prize box with new special swatches (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9).
However, some The Sims Mobile players are facing issues in STS challenge as the prize tracking system is broken. This causes the obtained-prizes counter to get stuck (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14).
The Sims Mobile STS (Sweet Treat Showdown) tracking broken
The issue results in some The Sims Mobile players being unable to complete the Sweet Treat Showdown (STS) challenge. Apparently, the prizes collected stop counting after a certain point for the tracking system.
This means that the progress bar never reaches the end, so affected players cannot receive the Grand Prize box. The game requires collecting 122 prizes, but the counter could get stuck when it reaches 104.
Even if you had enough sweet treat token or royal treat token, you will never ever get the grand prize! Thumb or vote up if you agree my statement. It is pissed me up + stress!! Source
EA team finally aware, fix in works
Although the reports about the glitch come from December 2021, an official acknowledgment by the EA team just came in the last few days (1, 2). The company also confirms that they are already working on a fix.
EA is rewarding affected players with SimCash and Simoleons (in-game currency) as the long-awaited fix finally arrives. However, there is no ETA for it yet.
I understand how disappointing it can be to not get all the Grand Prize swatches but please enjoy the SimCash and Simoleons while we fix the issue for the next Bonus Sweet Treat Showdown. Source

06:01 pm (IST): EA has confirmed that the upcoming update for The Sims Mobile includes fixes for STS (Sweet Treat Showdown) rewards issue.
