The Sims 4 is the latest addition to the popular life simulation video game franchise — The Sims. It was released on September 2014 and gradually became one of the best-selling video games.
However, players have also come across different kinds of issues with the video game in the recent past such as weddings not working, game not saving, and Gallery down or not working to name a few.
With that said, The Sims players are now reporting two new issues with the game that are further ruining their gaming experience.
The Sims 4 Pre-order bonus not showing up
Many gamers have taken to Reddit and Twitter to report (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) that they aren’t getting pre-order bonus for the High School Years.

Luckily, EA support has acknowledged this bug and said that they are currently working to resolve it. But they didn’t provide any ETA for the fix.
Prom event missing from calendar
There’s another issue bothering The Sims 4 player where the Prom event is missing (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) from the calendar.
Some players say that the event is there on the calendar but they aren’t able to participate in it, while others are complaining that its not even showing up on the calendar.
Unfortunately, EA hasn’t yet acknowledged this problem and we hope that it gets resolved soon. Also, we haven’t come across any potential workarounds for any of the above-mentioned bugs.
