The game’s story is based on Homer (of course) who accidentally causes a meltdown that wipes out Springfield. You are then tasked with undoing his mess by helping Homer rebuild the city.

And now, users are facing yet another login issue wherein typing in the verification code results in the game throwing out an error saying that the code is incorrect. It persists even with repeated attempts, effectively making the game unplayable.

The issue is plaguing both iOS and Android versions of the game and has led to a slew of one-star ratings in the respective app stores.

While most users say that the verification code does arrive for them but doesn’t work, there are also several complaints about no verification code being sent out at all. This occurs to players with both valid and invalid emails.
