One of the highest-grossing and highest-paid actors in the world Dwayne Johnson is looking for a chance to play the lead role in the next James Bond film.
Recently, in an interview with Esquire, The Rock expressed his desire to play the iconic role of the lifetime as Daniel Craig has played his final spin as 007 agent in the movie No Time To Die. Moreover, he also shared an interesting incident about his grandfather Peter Maivia being part of the Bomd Franchise.
He stated, “Yes, my grandfather was a Bond villain in You Only Live Twice with Sean Connery. Very, very cool.” He further added, “I would like to follow in his footsteps and be the next Bond. I don’t want to be a villain. Gotta be Bond.”
Johnson was seen proud of his grandfather for his role in Bond franchise film You Only Live Twice in 1967. He wants to follow him adorning a tuxedo ans shaking the martinis. The Jungle Cruise actor will also suit well in the legendary eyebrow raise of the legendary spy.
