The residence of Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja in New Delhi was broken into, and cash and jewellery valued at Rs 1.41 crore were stolen. According to a news report, Sonam Kapoor’s mother-in-law was the first to rush to the Tughlaq Road police station to report the crime at their home.

Because of the high-profile nature of the case, senior Delhi Police officials quickly assumed command and organised investigating teams.

Sonam and Anand’s personnel are being questioned as part of the probe, according to ABP News Marathi. The Delhi Police are questioning 25 employees, as well as 9 caretakers, drivers, gardeners, and other personnel. Both the Delhi Police and the FSL are investigating the crime scene, which is Sonam and Anand’s Delhi home.

Sonam’s father-in-law, according to the story, Harish Ahuja’s mother-in-law and Harish Ahuja’s mother-in-law Priya Ahuja lives on Amrita Shergill Marg in Delhi with Anand’s grandmother, Sarla Ahuja. According to her complaint, Sarla Ahuja (grandmother) discovered the crime on February 11 when she checked her cupboards for jewellery and cash. On February 23, the complaint was filed. She told the cops she hadn’t looked at the jewellery in over two years.

The police began investigating the theft at Sonam and Anand’s home after receiving the report. They’re also looking at CCTV footage from the previous year to see if there are any suspects in the incident. According to a report released last month, Sonam’s father-in-law was defrauded of Rs 27 crore. Ten people have been arrested as a result of this incident.

Sonam and Anand are currently in Mumbai. In the near future, the couple will welcome their first child. Her father, Anil Kapoor, is her current residence.
