Gangubai Kathiawadi’s teaser released on the director, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s birthday as he turns 58. The teaser shows her dressed in a white sari with a big red bindi as she arrives in her Bentley. The story revolves around the character of Alia, the owner of a brothel in Kamathipura located in the red light area of Mumbai. She’s a fearless powerful person who doesn’t really care about the labels put against her name.
The movie was supposed to release on September 11 last year. However, it is now set to release in the cinema on 30th July 2021.
