The first teaser for The Mandalorian Season 3 was formally unveiled during Celebration, although it was only shown to those who attended that particular panel and has not yet been made available to the general public.

What happens to Moff Gideon, played by Giancarlo Esposito, in The Mandalorian is one of the burning mysteries that many Star Wars fans have. At the conclusion of Season 2, Mando vanquished the figure in a one-on-one battle, and it seemed as though the New Republic had captured him.

The cunning boss wasn’t shown in the Celebration teaser, but reports claim that he will appear in some capacity in the new season and might even adopt a Mandalorian helmet. Esposito recently made fun of the possibility that people might notice him sooner rather than later.

Giancarlo Esposito, who plays Moff Gideon, was asked about his return to The Mandalorian and how probable it is that fans will get to see him in the character again in an interview that was conducted at Thomas J. Henry’s Superhero Car Show & Comic Con over the weekend via @countdowncitygeeks on TikTok.

Esposito responded, “The possibilities are strong,” when asked whether Moff Gideon might reappear in The Mandalorian in the future.

The actor continued to tease the audience by saying that Season 3 of the programme is “off the chain” and that fans will “be surprised” when they eventually get to see it:

Here is the list of New Starcast that we believe will be there in The Mandalorian Season 3

Regarding the cast of The Mandalorian Season 3, Carl Weathers will play Greef Karga, Giancarlo Esposito will play Moff Gideon, and Pedro Pascal will play Din Djarin. For Season 3, no additional actors have been confirmed.

But as I said earlier, I’m very sure Katee Sackhoff will return as Bo-Katan. Rosario Dawnson reprising her role as Ahsoka in Season 3 also wouldn’t surprise us.

Gina Carano, who plays Cara Dune, is one actor we know won’t be returning for Season 3 after being let go by Disney as a result of a number of contentious social media remarks she made. The showrunner will be Jon Favreau.

The Mandalorian Season 3 will debut on Disney+ in February 2023.
