The new Batman trailer has here, and action-packed is the best phrase to describe it. On Saturday, the first complete trailer for ‘The Batman’ was released as part of the DC FanDome virtual fan event, and it stars Robert Pattinson in the iconic lead role. The trailer, which lasts 2 minutes and 38 seconds, is dark and action-packed. The Cape Crusader packs a punch and much more in the clip, which depicts Gotham City cloaked in gloom and permanently perceived in a shade of grey. In the trailer, Batman warns ominously, “It’s not just a call…” It’s a cautionary note.”
In addition to directing the film, Reeves co-wrote the screenplay with Peter Craig and is producing it alongside Dylan Clark.
“The director’s behind-the-scenes creative team included Oscar-nominated director of photography Greig Fraser (“Dune,” “Lion”); Reeves’ “Planet of the Apes” production designer James Chinlund and editor William Hoy; editor Tyler Nelson (“Rememory”); and Oscar-winning costume designer Jacqueline Durran (“1917,” “Little Women”),” according to a statement attached to the trailer.
The Riddler is apprehended in the first trailer for ‘The Batman,’ directed by Matt Reeves and starring Robert Pattinson. On the other hand, fans of the masked vigilante know that the major antagonist will never surrender without a fight. While The Riddler’s face isn’t shown in the trailer, Paul Dano has been cast in the role.
This time, billionaire Bruce Wayne is enabling his alter ego, Batman, to utilise violent measures to fight a serial killer who is obsessed with him. Selina Kyle, aka Catwoman, is played by Zoe Kravitz, who joins him in his battle for justice. Andy Serkis plays Alfred Pennyworth, while Colin Farrell plays Oswald Cobblepot, called Penguin, in the video.
According to the producers, ‘The Batman’ will be released in theatres on March 4, 2022, with Warner Bros. Pictures handling international distribution.
