According to recent updates, the Season 6 of “The Good Doctor” won’t be premiered on ABC in September 2022. However, ABC will premiere it during this year’s fall.
ABC, contrary to other broadcast networks, is planning to release their fall seasons a bit later during the ongoing fall. Meanwhile, other broadcast networks are premiering their fall seasons with return of hit series and new original launches in the week of September 19.
ABC has set aside several of its hit series like “The Good Doctor”, “Station 19” and “Grey’s Anatomy” for October 2022.
ABC has scheduled Monday, October 3 for a night of premieres. This is inclusive of the Season 6 of “The Good Doctor”. The highly anticipated hit medical drama will thus premiere on the first Monday of October at 10/9c.
The premiere night by ABC will also feature the premiere of new season of Bachelor in Paradise.
The American medical drama television series, The Good Doctor, is based on the 2013 South Korean series of the same name. Actor Daniel Dae Kim bought the rights for his production company and adapted the series. Kim made a deal with Sony Pictures Television and brought in David Shore to develop the series. David Shore is the creator of the medical drama House featured on Fox.
