Since Ghost Hunters debuted in the early 2000s, paranormal shows have been all the rage. There have been many investigative shows since that hit series, but one of the best in that genre wasn’t even on TV. For nearly a decade, Buzzfeed Unsolved Supernatural captured the hearts of many paranormal fans. Although that series ended with its seventh season late last year, The Ghoul Boys are set to return with a new paranormal series titled Ghost Files. Furthermore, everyone’s favourite lovable investigators Ryan Bergara and Shane Madej announced at VidCon this past Friday that the series will premiere on their YouTube channel Watcher in September 2022.
The announcement was accompanied by a new poster depicting our two illustrious investigators, Bergara and Madej, in the midst of a Ghost Files investigation, dressed in some slick Ghost Files jackets. The image has a fun Ghostbusters/X-Files vibe to it, and the eerie mood is set by the haunting shadow creature behind them. The shadowy colour palette of green and blue pops against the dark background, making this a delightful poster for the true believer.
