The CW app crashing or not loading on Roku
Every time users launch The CW channel on Roku, it starts loading for a few seconds and then takes them back to the home screen.
However, all other apps seem to be working just fine which has left users of The CW app frustrated as they are unable to watch their favorite shows on their Roku devices.
Many tried troubleshooting options such as unplugging the TV, removing the app, and then downloading it again but none of them seems to work.
It’s unclear why The CW app suddenly started crashing on Roku but many speculate it’s due to a recent update. We hope a patch to fix the issue comes out soon.
Issue acknowledged
Fortunately, The CW support has acknowledged the app crashing or not loading issue on Roku. However, they did not share any timeframe of when it will be fixed.
