The third season of the sitcom features a cast that includes Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Nathan Mitchell, Colby Minifie, Claudia Doumit, and Jensen Ackles. The story centers on the titular Boys, who have reconciled with the Seven and are now working for Victoria Neuman’s Bureau of Superhero Affairs, whose mission it is to apprehend bothersome Supers. A year has passed since the events of the previous season when the tale takes place. Butcher begins investigating the events surrounding the alleged death of Soldier Boy, one of Vought’s first American superheroes, to ultimately catch Homelander.
While Vought tries to limit Homelander’s influence, his mental stability starts to deteriorate, and other Seven members like Starlight and Queen Maeve help the Boys in their schemes against him.
Butcher is really against superheroes and in some of the clips he can be seen teaching students about why superheroes aren’t always nice.
This fall, the wee ones are gettin a proper education thanks to Mr. Butcher. pic.twitter.com/kn6lYQjK1f

It’s obvious why Billy has a vengeance against superheroes, but the more he pursues it, the more his moral compass seems to be off. Although he is quite certain that what he is doing is noble, he employs some questionable methods to achieve his ultimate goal of controlling superheroes. Like some of the worst characters, he horrifies us repeatedly throughout the series.
