As he remarked about the phenomenal success of KGF: Chapter 2, South star Kiccha Sudeep re-ignited the national language issue. ‘Hindi is no longer a national language,’ he said during the premiere of a film. In response to his statement, Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn tweeted his thoughts and posed a question to Sudeep. The actor has questioned why films in his mother tongue are dubbed in Hindi since Hindi is no longer the mother tongue.
Ajay Devgn took to Twitter and tagged Kiccha Sudeep and wrote in Hindi, “@KicchaSudeep my brother, According to you if Hindi is not our national language then why do you release your mother tongue movies by dubbing them in Hindi? Hindi was, is and always will be our mother tongue and national language. Jan Gan Man.”
To this Kiccha Sudeep replied back by And sir@ajaydevgn ,, I did understand the txt you sent in hindi. Tats only coz we all have respected, loved and learnt hindi. No offense sir,,,but was wondering what’d the situation be if my response was typed in kannada.!! Don’t we too belong to India sir.
