Kamal released a video on Tuesday in which he thanked the fans for making Vikram such a success. He specifically complimented Suriya for taking the cameo role in the video. He went on to claim that in the next instalment of the Vikram franchise, Suriya will have a larger role. Vikram has been Kamal Haasan’s highest-grossing film to date. It’s also his first film to gross over $200 million.

Lokesh was also given a Lexus automobile by Kamal for helping Vikram become a tremendous success on Tuesday. Lokesh thanked Kamal for the kindness by sharing a photo of the new automobile. In the film, Kamal reprises a role he played in the 1986 film of the same name. He reappears as former Black Squad agent Vikram, who used to serve for the Indian government.

Telugu, Hindi, and Malayalam versions of the film have been released. Lokesh Kanagaraj also wrote Vikram, which was produced by Raaj Kamal Films International. On June 3rd, it was released in theatres. Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Kalidas Jayaram, Narain, Antony Varghese, and Arjun Das also star in the film.

When questioned recently about working with Fahadh and Vijay, Haasan compared it to “a good meal best shared.” “My guru Mr K Balachander taught me how to enjoy sharing the screen space and not to steal the show. Both the brothers were admirers of mine, so it felt like a felicitation,” he had added.
