DC Comics fans in India are chastising the company for presenting Kashmir as a disputed area in its most recent animated feature, Injustice.
Superman and Wonder Woman are seen demolishing Indian military equipment in a video circulating on the internet.
Superman proclaims the federal united area an arms-free zone towards the conclusion.
The ethnically diverse Himalayan area is claimed by both India and Pakistan, although only sections of it are under their authority. Jammu and Kashmir, India’s federal region, has long been considered essential to the country’s unity.
“Show some patriotism, DC fans in India, and cancel [Injustice].” This is abhorrent. One Twitter user said, “Propaganda anti-India myths should be smashed.” “DC Comics, this is terrible, Kashmir is an essential part of India, [so] keep out of it or your market in India will be decimated,” another said.
“It’s time to prohibit DC flicks in India,” another individual said.
This need to be nipped in the bud. But am not sure will that happen https://t.co/jAVqe8zVik

However, one user argued that similar moments were always there in the DC Universe “long before ‘Wokism’ was a thing.”
“Oh for f*sake, ’s oh for fsake, *’s o “At the very least, read up on the Injustice plot and the comics that were published long before ‘Wokism’ became a thing,” the user said.
“This was always there, and it wasn’t just Kashmir; Superman f***** ked every other military war on the world,” they said.
