Emmy Awards 2022 was held at the Microsoft Theatre in Loss Angeles. Several wins But the Korean drama Squid Game wins in the hearts.

Squid Game wins five awards at Emmys 2022:

In Emmys 2022, the South Korean series, Squid Game, won six awards. Either the drama was nominated in 14 categories.

Squid game made history as the first foreign-language drama to win top honors at the television industry’s Emmy Awards. Creator Hwang Dong-hyuk won for outstanding directing and Lee Jung-Jae, who played the main character in the South Korean drama, garnered the Emmy for best actor. Lee Jung-Jae became the first Asian to win the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series. Lee You-mi, who played Ji-Yeong, won the award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series.

Squid Game, which is streaming on Netflix, grabbed everyone’s attention when it was released in September 2021. The series cost $21 million to produce and went on to be watched for more than 1.65 billion hours in just four weeks. It remained one of the top shows on Netflix for months.

Squid Game is a dark drama created by Hwang Dong-hyuk for Netflix. Lee Jung-Jae, Park Hae-soo, Wi Ha-Joon, HoYeon Jung, O Yeong-Su, Heo Sung-Tae, Anupam Tripathi, and Kim Joo-ryoung played key roles in the show. This drama is the story of people who compete in a deadly competition. The second season is also currently underway.
