Forget Google, Soulja Boy is the original founder of TikTok… at least, according to the rapper himself.

The “Crank That” rapper spoke with Raq on the “It’s Tricky With Raquel Harper” podcast about everything TikTok… and the impact he believes he’s had on the app.

Big Draco (partially) joked that he founded TikTok and that those generating money from the app needed to pay up. TikTok, as you may be aware, has achieved enormous popularity, with over 1 billion users.

Many songs go viral on the app with choreographed dances… a pattern Soulja claims he pioneered in 2007 with his hit single “Crank That (Soulja Boy).” And, while he didn’t build the app, he makes a valid point.

Soulja, on the other hand, claims he likes the app. He went on to say that TikTok was the only reason his song “She Make It Clap” was able to reach new heights… such as reaching No. 1 on Billboard, landing him a record deal, and inspiring some of Hollywood’s greatest stars to listen and bust out their best dance moves.

Of course, Soulja’s life hasn’t been all roses. You may recall that he was dropped from Kanye’s “Donda” album, and Ye even bashed his verse in an interview. They eventually worked out their differences, and SB laughed it all off.

Though he may have struggled to have a hit with Ye, it appears TikTok has welcomed him with open arms… and he’s had enormous success.

Then he claims he wants to collaborate with Jay-Z… who knows, maybe he’ll start that as well.
