New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….
Original story (published on April 02, 2022) follows:
Rainbow Six Siege is one of the most competitive FPS titles available. Published by Ubisoft, the game was launched back in 2015 and is currently in its seventh year.
But since the start of the year, players have complained about several issues such as Battle Pass challenges not progressing and mute button being greyed out.
That being said, Rainbow Six Siege players are now saying (1,2,3,4,5) that they are unable to download the latest update that was released a few days ago. Others say they are getting ‘Error code [3-0x00030081]’ when trying to connect to the game servers.
Some reported that they tried reinstalling the game but it does not help. Here are some reports from Rainbow Six Siege players who are unable to download the latest update.
Thankfully, Ubisoft Support has commented on the matter and said they are investigating the problem. However, they did not share any ETA on when the issue will be fixed.
We hope Ubisoft resolves the issue as soon as possible since it is making the game unplayable for many. If and when they do, we will be updating this space to let you know so make sure you keep checking PiunikaWeb.
Update 1 (April 04)
