In Heart Machine’s latest game, Solar Ash, there are a number of collectibles to uncover while exploring the different biomes that make up the Ultravoid. The most desirable of these collectibles are the Voidrunner stashes, logs from Rei’s missing Voidrunner team that also unlock new suits and abilities for Rei to use on her mission.

In the first major area, the Broken Capital, Rei can find Voidrunner stashes from Erving, the gruff leader of their crew. There are five total Voidrunner stashes for Rei to find in this region, and opening them all unlocks Erving’s suit. This doubles her plasma intake while exploring the Ultravoid, so it’s worth the player’s time to collect these items.

5 Past The Lonely Tree

After leaving the Crater, players will grind up a railing and enter the first, small section of the Broken Capital. The first Voidrunner stash can be found immediately to the right past a small island with a single tall tree with red leaves on it.

The tree will sport the noticeable Voidrunner mark, which is a dark circle ringed by a larger circle that’s broken by a triangle. Skating past the tree will take players around the underside of the cloud mass, where they’ll find the first Voidrunner stash sitting on a small strip of land next to the cliffside.

4 Atop The Shortcut Rail

The second Voidrunner stash requires players to navigate this entire entrance area and unlock both shortcut rails leading up the very top of the cliff. Once the second door is unlocked, look to the back of the small chamber at the top of the rail to find another Voidrunner mark on the wall.

Players will then have to jump out the window at the back of the chamber and over the rocks outside until they reach a wall of sticky, black goo. Climb up the goo to the next cliff overhead to find the next Voidrunner stash hiding in a recessed archway of the surrounding ruins.

3 Overlooking The Fountain

The next stash can be found a little further into the region, past the memorial fountain and tree that acts as an entryway to the rest of the Broken Capital. In this room, players can look up to the left to see a Voidrunner mark next to a large, unreachable hole in the wall.

In order to get up there, players will need to continue through the chamber and ride the grind rail leading out to the rest of the area. Once at Cyd’s platform, hop back on the grind rail, jump off about halfway up, and snag the grapple point that leads to a clump of black goo on the wall ahead. Climb the goo over the ledge to find the Voidrunner stash overlooking the fountain chamber.

2 At The Campsite

The fourth Voidrunner stash can be found by heading right from Cyd’s platform when first entering the Broken Capital and heading to the far end of the area. Near a forlorn bus stop with two corpses is a grind rail that leads up toward one of the skyscrapers, and a wall nearby where players can spot the telltale Voidrunner mark.

Take the rail up to some black, climbable goo that leads to a small ledge. From there, jump back onto the railing on the other side of some subway cars and ride it into the building up ahead. Defeat the two remnants waiting inside to claim the Voidrunner stash at the back of the building without issue.

1 Erving’s Rest

Erving’s final Voidrunner stash is by far the trickiest to reach. Head straight across from Cyd’s platform to find twin subway rails leading out of the cloud cover. Grind up them, jumping to avoid the subway cars, until reaching black goo at the corner of the building. Climb the goo, defeat the remnants on the roof, and climb the rocks on the other side to access a mid-air grapple point.

After landing on the other side of the gap, make sure to unlock the shortcut rail that will allow Rei to reach this ledge with ease. Grapple across the small gap, dispatch the single remnant, and grind on the rail to the next grapple point before climbing up to another rooftop.

Head to the far side of this rooftop and hop to the nearby grind rail to launch onto another rooftop filled with enemies. Take them out, skate around the rocks that lead up to the flying Remnants, and defeat them quickly before activating time split to reach the overhead grapple point. From here, players should be able to reach the series of grapple points that will launch them to the roof with Erving’s final Voidrunner stash.
