With its portable device now in people’s hands, reviewers and gamers have been getting to grips with it these past couple of weeks. While it’s designed to incorporate the company’s own operating system by default, it is possible to install a different OS and the developer has just added support for Windows....

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has recently pulled the curtain back on some of its story details, and it already seems like it’s going to be a very unique take on DC’s biggest names. After the success that DC’s team of misfits have had in theaters, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be Harley Quinn and company’s first major appearance as video game protagonists. Developer Rocksteady has made a strong case for the squad so far, leaning into each member’s unhinged personalities in a way that should make for one of the most offbeat and entertaining DC games yet....

According to The Washington Post, the critics claimed that complete switching to renewable energy, such as wind mil and solar power, fossil fuels could avoid future electricity blackouts. A study by Standford University has counted, which shows that the switching for renewable alternative energy sources and completely dropping the use of fossil fuel, would lead to remarkably reduced energy demand and avoid events like the Texas blackout. Considering that climate change is upon us and that all use of fossil fuel worsens the situation, it might be a good alternative....

Chinese developer Softstar Technology is working on Sword and Fairy 7, an upcoming ‘dynamic action RPG’ due for release this year on PC via Steam. This will be the latest installment in a long-standing franchise that originally debuted back in 1995. It was such a huge commercial and critical success that the franchise even spawned many spin-offs (including mobile games, MMORPGs, and a business simulation game) and the Chinese Paladin TV series adaptation....

The Tales action RPG franchise remains as strong as it ever was, with the latest entry Tales of Arise coming out in the next few months. This game marks the largest leap forward in Tales graphics and gameplay seen in quite some time. Temtem’s been in early access on PC since January of 2020, and has seen various expansions to the experience. These include new locales, new gameplay features, and most obviously, new Temtem for players to catch, collect and battle with. 2022 is set to be capped off in horrifying fashion when Dead Space co-creator Glen Schofield’s The Callisto Protocol launches in December, and today during the big Gamescom Opening Night Live showcase, we got a new, bloody look at the game. Two clips were provided, one of which shows some new enemy types and plenty of dismemberment, for those who are at all concerned the violence would be toned down. We also see an exciting-looking scripted sequence in which the player is sucked down an aqueduct of sorts and must avoid various hazards, before falling victim to a particularly gruesome death....
