Apophis will be roughly 44 times as far away as the moon during tonight’s considerably less spectacular flyby. The asteroid will be more than 10.2 million miles (16.4 million kilometers) from Earth during its closest approach. The large asteroid Apophis will safely pass by Earth tonight (October 16), and at least two astronomy broadcast organizations are planning live webcasts of the flyby. While personal telescopes with a diameter of fewer than 12 inches may struggle to view Apophis on Friday, the Slooh internet observatory and the Virtual Telescope Project are planning separate webcasts....

Green Hell is on its way to consoles in the near future. Late last year Creepy Jar revealed that Green Hell was headed to VR devices in 2021, and now the game is branching out by landing on consoles as well this year. Creepy Jar released a trailer announcing that Green Hell will launch on consoles in June of 2021. Although it did not specify specifically what consoles the horror survival game would land on, a final image at the end of the video does show the PS4 and Xbox logo....

The recent massive GTA 6 leak won’t have any impact on the game’s development, according to publisher Take-Two Interactive. Take-Two’s CEO Strauss Zelnick said as much during the company’s most recent earnings call with investors. During the conference call, entertainment analyst Mike Hickey asked whether the leak has impacted the game’s development time frame, and how the publisher is moving forward. According to Zelnick, although incredibly serious and unfortunate, there’s currently no evidence that game assets were taken....

An Indian Air Force (IAF) team and the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) on Friday successfully flight-tested the country’s first indigenously developed long-range bomb (LRB) from a fighter jet over Balasore in Odisha. The Defence Ministry stated, “after release from the IAF fighter aircraft, was guided to a land-based target at a long-range with accuracy within specified limits”. He was proud that all the mission objectives were met.”The flight of the bomb and the performance was monitored by a number of range sensors, including Electro Optical Tracking System (EOTS), Telemetry and radar deployed by the Integrated Test Range, Chandipur in Odisha”, the statement read....
